An educational center for
esoteric and mystical studies, the Karin Kabalah Center provides a journey of
self-discovery through its extensive course Kabalah: A Process of Awakening.
The Center also offers
workshops, a seminary program, counseling and guided tours to worldwide spiritual
centers, all of which are available to local, national and international students.
Welcome!
If you are interested in pursuing the path
of the mystic, the path of Divine realization, we invite you to join us.
Mysticism transcends the structures of all religious belief systems while at the
same time enhancing the understanding contained within them. Our goal is to help
mankind break through the barriers he has placed on himself thereby freeing the
Spirit within him to be expressed in full potential.
History
Established in 1988 at its present location
in Atlanta, Georgia, the Karin Kabalah Center has expanded to become one of the
leading esoteric/mystical teaching centers, not only locally, but also,
nationally and internationally. Its primary study course, Kabalah: A Process
of Awakening is available as a home study course, as are many of the
Center's lectures and workshops. Also available to both local and national
students is enrollment in the seminary program for ministry and priesthood in
the St. Thomas Christian Church, a church in the mystical tradition, which uses
Kabalah: A Process of Awakening as a major portion of the seminary
curriculum.
The Center's founder and
director, Shirley Chambers, has an extensive background in esoteric/mystical
studies, and prior to establishing the Karin Kabalah Center, she taught classes at
the Foundation of Truth in Atlanta for over eight years. She has also presented
lectures and workshops for many nationally known organizations such as Spiritual
Frontiers Fellowship, Unity, Life Spectrums, Aquarian Searchers, Visions of
Tomorrow, Whole Life Expo and the Theosophical Society. Author of The
Karin Kabalah and Kabalah: A Process of Awakening , Ms. Chambers
writes with characteristic clarity of mind as well as great respect for all the
ancient spiritual paths and traditions. Her writings demonstrate the innate
reasonableness of the Kabalah.
