Course Description
The Gospels of Matthew, Mark,
Luke, and John can all be interpreted upon four basic levles of understanding,
namely, the physical or historical, the allegorical, the metaphysical and the
mystical. Each gospel itself relates to one of man's four worlds of
consciousness. Matthew relates to physical expression; Mark to emotional and
intellectual; Luke to creative and John to spiritual. Although it is important
for members of the clergy to understand all levels of interpretation, the
mystical understanding of the gospels brings intriguing facts to light, facts
which are pertinent and important to man's present movement of consciousness.
