Course Description
Pastoral counseling, also known
as spiritual counseling, is an important part of ministry expression. This
course is designed to instruct seminarians in ways of helping those who come to
them as ministers for counseling. Not only do ministers counsel others in
spiritual matters, but they are also often called upon for guidance in everyday
living existence, especially an existence that is problematic. This course
presents the brief pastoral counseling orientation and introduces a series of
pastoral counseling interventions.
